Do your Russian or Ukrainian-speaking clients need a tour guide?
My services include: Meeting clients at the airport, Russian/English translation, Ukrainian/English translation, conducting sightseeing tours around Christchurch and the South Island, and driving. I have a clean New Zealand (passenger car) Driving License.
I have completed a Defensive Driving course, and hold a current First Aid Certificate.
I was born in Ukraine. After graduating from High School, I served in the Armed Forces. I then completed my University studies at the Kiev Theatre Institute, majoring in the History and Theory of Theatre.
Since 2001 I have lived in New Zealand.
My interests include culture, art and philosophy. I have excellent interpersonal skills, as well as practical problem-solving skills. I enjoy meeting new people, and love to participate in outdoor activities.
My Experience:
In Ukraine, I worked for one year as a tour operator, escorting foreign tourists.
In New Zealand, I have recently worked as a tour guide on the following tours:
- An individual tour (4 hours; 2 clients) in Christchurch (New Zealand Easybook Tours, Auckland).
- An Individual tour (5 days; 2 clients) Christchurch - the West Coast - Queenstown (New Zealand Easybook Tours, Auckland).
- A basic tour (4 hours; 12 clients) around Christchurch (Vostok Travel, Auckland).
- A group tour (1 day; 25 clients) Lord of The Rings film location near Christchurch. (Vostok Travel, Auckland/ Hassle Free tour, Christchurch)
My fees are subject to negotiation.
